Campton Hills has a tradition of long term strategic planning, But the current re-zoning effort does not draw from this wealth of material.
Before the Village was even formed, a landmark effort known as Preserve Campton framed the issues. The incorporation of Campton Hills actually started here.
In 2010 the Village and Township released a Green Infrastructure report, followed by a report detailing development options for the Town Center & Wasco area.
In 2012, the Village released a Comprehensive Plan. Intended as a living document, the current administration has abandoned this plan and the other plans before it.
